Old Manifest on that of the Image:
The power of the image is like a dull blade that cuts only through the air. Where do we find vibrations? Angularity, chronology, phallacism: the image bites. The objet/image endowed with such subtly metaphysical qualities can be overturned, imbloated, or made subject of a series of accidents. Permanent accidents that are so permanent, sometimes their not accidents at all. Time no longer needs to be encapsulated and frozen within that of the image and its corrisponding gaze. This is the temporal condition of reified culture. Movement does not need to produce an image of time, but time iteself must produce movement. Images might be the trace of this process? Such a process may be retraced in numerous ways perhaps. The implications of this situation must be developed and explicated. I am not yet aware or comfortable with them, but this is what i'm working on.
The following, written under an unusual amount of duress and irritation, only applies to certain spaces and certain times.
Manifest on Irritation:
The BoC has come to the realization that the object of onto-aesthetico-de saturation is one of a kind in the nefarious domains of New England. The bodies that are unintentionally implicated in onto-topologics can only experience one aesthetic affect: Irritation. This my friends is the poverty of the grand arsenal of reason and conscience: these bodies are so saturated within, shall we say, durations de fascismo, that no form of bliss or thunder can enter into and redistribute the pangs of dearth and melancholy that so fastidiously wrestle their pretenses through the symbolic. This is why at this point and time irritation takes front seat to other affects that may dominate the throws of contemporary aesthetic praxis. Ring the bells Young Todd! The Battle has always already been waged and rung! You are a chipper young lad they crowed through the fields of skin and bean!
